Angel Piper St. Gile's Cathedral, Edinburgh in Thistle Chapel.


Angel Piper St. Giles Cathedral Edinburgh, Thistle Chapel.
I believe both of these were carved in 1911, not much earlier (I happened to find a Pitkin guide to St. Giles in a Goodwill store here in the states before getting these images).


Early 14 c. carving of musician playing bagpipes in nave of Beverley Minster.

Appears to be "catpipes". Thanks to Maria Fryer for this one.


Found this in a book of Misericords. Can't remember which one but how many can there be?
