
Info on this print was dug up from David Gouge at Colonial Williamsburg- just goes to show you that not every piping print is well documented... check out the description.
"A group of six peasants have met in a room of a very rustic inn or tavern to make music, singing. One holds a book of music and one a rustic flute-like instrument which perhaps is intended to be a recorder. The room is barren of much decoration. A bar is to the rear of the men but only a very few things are shown on it.
