James Owen Bullock was born 28 JUL 1828 in Clarenceville, QC Canada. He died 8 MAR 1908 in Fitch Bay, QC Canada. moved to Stanstead County, settling on the East shore of Lake
Memphremagog on the farm owned by Elijah Reed which, they later
bought. He lived on this farm until his old age. He willed the farm to his
daughter margaret and lived there some time. After his second marriage
he lived upstairs in Warren's house. After the death of his second wife,
he moved in with Euretta "Ret" in Fitch Bay.
Blacksmith, Farmer, he brought blacksmith tools from Clarenceville and
set up shop on the farm mostly for his own use. He was blacksmith for
the lead mine across the lake and took drills over in a row boat. On the
farm he had cows, sheep and horses.
